Checking & Setting Up Your Email

You can check your email from anywhere by going to http://runmail.net

Simply log in with your email address and password.

You can also receive your email on your computer, phone or tablet.

Generic settings to set up Runmail are:

Our secure email server will ONLY work with the “mail.runspot.net” address.

The RunMail web site is also secure.  It is ONLY secure for https://runmail.net.

A domain can be set up to use their own sub-domain (mail.domain.com) and get
normal (non-secure) email connections or it can be set up to use the mail.runspot.net address and they can get secure email.

If the customer is using portable devices (iPad, iPhone, Android, or other smart phones)
that will probably use open WiFi, it is recommended that mail.runspot.net + secure connections be used.

For SECURE connections:

Incoming mail server:

server (POP3/IMAP):	mail.runspot.net
user:	full email address
password:	email password

The ports for the incoming mail server are usually auto-selected.  If you need to select a port,
it needs to match which type of email connection that you are using.

POP3 is the most common email connection type.
port: 995 (for POP3)
port: 993 (for IMAP)

Outgoing mail server:

server:	mail.runspot.net
user:	full email address
password:	email password
port:	465
Server requires authentication:	YES
Server requires a secure connection (SSL):	YES

For NON-SECURE connections:

Incoming mail server:

server (POP3/IMAP):	mail.runspot.net (can also be mail.your-domain.com, if it is set up)
user:	full email address
password:	email password

The ports for the incoming mail server are usually auto-selected.
If you need to select a port, it needs to match which type of email connection
that you are using.
POP3 is the most common email connection type.

Port: 110 (for POP3)
Port: 143 (for IMAP)

Outgoing mail server:

server:	mail.runspot.net (can also be mail.your-domain.com, if it is set up)
user:	full email address
password:	email password
port:	587 (try port 25, if 587 does not work)
Server requires authentication:	YES
Server requires a secure connection (SSL):	NO
